PROBUILD GRAND CENTRAL, TOOWOOMBA
Lindores Construction Logistics is currently partnering with Probuild to redevelop the QIC-owned Grand Central Shopping Centre in Toowoomba.
The redevelopment of Grand Central will see the existing centre linked to the former Gardentown Shopping Centre via a two-level retail galleria, and will introduce new discount department stores, new supermarkets and approximately 160 specialty retailers, including global high street and iconic Australian fashion brands.
Probuild has commenced construction on the project with completion expected in early 2017.
LCL provided the plan for maximizing the coverage of the cranes as well as strategically placing them so that the mobile 350 tonne crane would be able to dismantle them again in late 2016.
LCL is providing 5 cranes to cover the large building site of around 6000sqm, the three largest cranes will have a lifting capacity of 50 tonnes. The first crane has been installed onsite and all five will be erected by August 2015.
Equipment provided by Lindores Construction Logistics includes a Favelle Favco M380D, two M440D’s, a Comedil CTT561 and Liebherr 280ECH.
